It’s been a while!

Hello!

Gosh it’s been a while! I haven’t been crafting as often. I’ve been experimenting with different hobbies. My recent and not so recent favorite is photography. My blog has remained focused on crafting, but I thought it would be fun to introduce some of my photos to the blog! & hopefully I’ll get back to sharing my crafting adventures soon!

For now, I’ve started an online photography course. I’m using a Canon Rebel T6. So far everything I’ve done has been self taught or with the advice of my close friend who is a professional photographer. I’m excited to see my progress!

The photo above was taken in my parents rose garden.

Souvenir Shadow Box

Hello!

I’ve been in search of a fun way to store and display some of my Disney Souvenirs. While shopping at Home Goods today I found the perfect shadow box to do just that. Initially I was going to place my pins on a burlap canvas, but I love this idea. I left my pins on my lanyard and was able to store my magic band as well.

Gift Set!

Hello!

Gifting can be tough! Below I’m featuring a gift set I assembled & it works great for all holidays & occasions!

I purchased the wooden crate from Michael’s & painted it using a rose gold spray paint. I also purchased a large mason jar to use for collecting corks. I added a wine chiller, wine glass, and a bottle of wine to finish off the gift set.

This is a great gift set option for any wine lover. It’s easy to cater this gift set to the recipient by using designs and colors they love!

Disney Bound!

Hello!

This weekend has been spent reminiscing my trip to Disney and planning my upcoming trip this spring!

I thought it would be fun to feature my Disney bounding outfits from my first trip! Disney bounding is using a Disney character to inspire your outfit! There are tons of outfit suggestions on Pinterest!

Paper Pumpkin!

Hello!!!

I love subscription boxes & was so happy to find a crafty box!

From Paper Pumpkin’s website —> Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up! is a crafting subscription kit that delivers creativity to your door every month. Each box includes everything you need to make a stunning project.

Projects include cards, gift packaging, home décor, and more for just $19.95 a month (shipping included). Visit My Paper Pumpkin to sign up for your own box!

Above is my kit from December. The kits include everything, minus scissors. The instruction sheet walks you step by step on how to make each card. Below you can see my completed cards from this kit. I love that Paper Pumpkin kits aren’t incredibly hard, you still have room to personalize or change things up, and you have the stamps as well as the stamp spot (ink) for future cards. I definitely recommend checking out Paper Pumpkin!

Picture Frame

Hello!

Here’s a sweet little photo frame that I decorated! I found the base at Michael’s. Initially I was giving this as a gift in the Spring so I wanted it to have a light shabby chic feel. I used white chalk board paint to paint the frame. I added flowers as accents and of course included a little bow detail! This was one of those things I finished and didn’t want to give away it was so cute!

Happy crafting!
