Spring!!!

Hello!  I’m soooooo ready for warmer days!  Even though Springtime usually means lots of rain, it also means pretty flowers, sunshine, rainbows, and Easter!  To celebrate the first day of Spring, I decided to pull out my Easter decorations and make my home feel fresh and Spring-y.  I also thought it would be a good way to kick off Spring cleaning with a good dusting! I found Kirkland’s and Jo Ann Fabric’s had the best selection for Spring/Easter decor.  I just love the bunny-butt decor, I got one to add to my Easter collection this year!  Hope y’all enjoy!!!

Dream Catcher

Hello!  I had a request from my niece to make a dream catcher and I had to share the results.  It took a few tries to get the swing of things (and it wasn’t exactly easy with a cat playing and tugging at the ribbons as they were being woven), but it turned out beautifully!

If you’re interested in a customized dream catcher of your own, please contact me through my Etsy Shop and I would be happy to create one for you too!

Hello!

I’ve been working on something pretty exciting!  I decided to open an Etsy shop for some of my crafting creations.  I have also set up a Facebook page which will list my crafts that are available for purchasing.  On the Facebook page, you can purchase through the photo album.  If you are interested in purchasing any of my creations (they can be custom made for you!), please check out my Etsy and my Facebook!  Thank you to everyone who likes, shares, comments, and encourages me!  I have so much fun running this blog and crafting!

Tea Light Holders

Hello! Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on the blog the last few weeks with my crafting!  I’ve been working on a few things and I’m excited to share them!  Today I’m featuring tea light holders!  I don’t use candles for safety reasons, however, I love the flame-less tea lights that you can find just about anywhere these days!

What you’ll need:

  • Glass Tea Light Holder
  • Glass Pebbles
  • Seashells
  • Twine
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Tea Light Candles or Flame-less Tea Lights

Using the hot glue gun, glue the glass pebbles and seashells in place.  I used twine to create a bow and secured using hot glue as well.  I also placed loose glass pebbles inside the holders and placed the flame-less tea lights on top!

It’s a really quick and easy craft!  Perfect for adding a small touch to a table or shelf, and it comes in handy during power outages!  Hope y’all enjoyed! Happy crafting!!!
