Mermaid in a jar!

Hello!  Michael’s has the best selection of fairy garden supplies and this year they have a ton of beachy fairy garden decorations.  I have intentions of using some of my fairy garden supplies in one of my Scentsy warmers (I’ll feature that later!), but until then, I wanted to try something different.  I made a Mermaid in a Jar!  It’s very quick, easy, and looks great in my Mermaid themed bedroom!

What you’ll need:

  • Mason Jar
  • Glass Pebbles
  • Fairy Garden Supplies (I used a mermaid, tiny star fish, and a tiny sign)
  • Ribbon

I placed the pebbles in the bottom, added the mermaid, sign, and starfish.  Then I wrapped a pearl strand around the neck of the bottle and glued into place! Pretty quick and easy.  Hope y’all enjoy!

Mermaid Mason Jar

Hello!!! Super excited about today’s post! I’ve wanted a jar for my brushes and couldn’t decide how I wanted to decorate it. I got the idea to do a mermaid jar.

What you’ll need:

  • Mason jar
  • Spray Paint
  • Ribbon
  • Fishnet stockings

I started by spray painting the jar gold.  Once the paint dried, I secured the fishnets over the jar and used a teal spray paint. I tied a ribbon around the neck of the jar.  I love it!!! Happy Crafting, y’all!

Mason Jars & Beer Bottles

Hello!  Mason jars & beer bottles make for perfect up-cycled creations!  Here’s a little gift I recently put together!

I created a pen cup using a mason jar, ribbon, a monogram decal, and black pebbles.
I created a little vase with a beer bottle, spray paint, and ribbon.  I’ve found that holding the bottle farther away from the spray paint and slowly rotating the bottle helps give  a mercury glass appearance.
I added a few other office supplies to finish off the gift!

Happy Crafting y’all!

Mason Jar Craft

Hello!!! I love mason jar crafts, they are incredibly simple and always turn out adorable!
What you’ll need:
-Chalkboard paint (I used White)
-Ribbon
-Flowers
-Hot Glue Gun
Step one, paint your mason jar. Step two, wrap ribbon around jar and secure with hot glue. Step three, add flowers (real or fake).  Like I said, really simple!
Happy crafting!

I love Ellies!!!

Happy Sunday!  I love this craft because you can definitely make it your own!  It’s a simple little mason jar craft!
What you’ll need:
 -Mason Jar
-Animal (I chose an Elephant)
-Paint (I used spray paint and acrilic)
-Ribbon
-Glue

I started this craft by spray painting the elephant and lid of the mason jar.  I found the perfect sized animals at Michael’s in the children’s toy isle.  Once everything was dry, I first glued the two lid pieces together and then glued the elephant to the lid.  I painted the mason jar with Martha Stewart pearl paint.  To polish off the jar, I tied a ribbon around the neck!  I have no clue what I’m going to put in the jar, but I love it!  I was thinking it would be great for hair ties and pins!  Hope y’all enjoyed!
