Sweet Succulents

Hello!  I’ve been super quiet on the blog lately and I apologize!  I have been working on some fun things and I’m excited to share them with you over the next few weeks!

Today I wanted to share the sweet little succulents I gave as part of a Mother’s Day gift.  I saw these adorable bowls on clearance at TJ Maxx and I couldn’t pass them up!  Later that day I was in Walmart getting a few household items.  As I passed through the lawn and garden section, these little beauties caught my eye.  I’m very pleased with how this turned out!

Now to make one for my house too!  Until next time…

Dabbling in Watercolors

Hello!  I think if I could master every form of art, I would.  Recently, I’ve been playing with watercolors.  I’m not very good & any success I have had is from following tutorials on Pinterest! Hope y’all enjoy!

Milk Jar Craft #2!

Hello, again!  Here’s part two of my milk jar crafting!  This craft has about two steps!

What you’ll need:

  • Milk Jar (or mason jar)
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon

Cut the ribbon to fit the base of the bottle. Use hot glue to secure. And you’re done! Easiest craft ever and pretty cute too!  Hope y’all enjoyed!

Milk Jar Craft

Hello! I’ve been looking for fun, easy, and inexpensive ways to add touches of Spring to my home!  Here’s a quick little craft that I came up with using craft supplies I had laying around!

What you’ll need:

  • Milk Jar (could use mason jar as well)
  • Twine
  • Hot glue
  • Key
  • Paint
  • Painting Supplies

Start by painting the jar, I used a Martha Stewart satin finish paint and it took about three coats.  Wrap twine around opening of the bottle and secure with hot glue.  Attach key to twine and wrap around the neck of the bottle.  Add flowers!

Super quick craft and adds to perfect touch of Spring to any room!  I found my flower bouquet at Michael’s, I love the burlap flowers!  I hope y’all enjoyed! Happy Crafting!

Paper Flowers

Hi Y’all!  Last year I was stuck at work due to snow.  We were limited on craft supplies and I searched for what I could make with what was available to me!  All I had was construction paper, scissors, and glue! I found a post on Pinterest on how to make paper flowers.  I’ve attached the link below! I’m not even going to try to explain the steps!

Mason Jar Craft

Hello!!! I love mason jar crafts, they are incredibly simple and always turn out adorable!
What you’ll need:
-Chalkboard paint (I used White)
-Hot Glue Gun
Step one, paint your mason jar. Step two, wrap ribbon around jar and secure with hot glue. Step three, add flowers (real or fake).  Like I said, really simple!
Happy crafting!

Personalized Painting

Today’s featured creation is a gift I made for my sweet niece that was inspired by a quote I saw online!
What you’ll need:
-Paint Brushes
-Quote or saying!
I just painted the canvas using chalkboard paint.  Painted the Rylee’s name and the quote I found.  Then I simply painted the flowers!  Very happy with how this turned out!  Hope y’all have a great day!!!
