Mermaid Inspired Dreamcatcher

Hi! This little beauty is now available on my etsy shop!

Mermaid Inspired Dreamcatcher

So shabby, so chic, Always.

I was doing a little late night crafting and couldn’t wait to share this little creation. I can’t decide if I want to keep it or post it on my etsy shop!

This adventure started with having new washi tape that I really wanted to use. I thought this was a nice twist to traditional Harry Potter memorabilia. It tends to be much darker in comparison to this shabby chic rendition. Happy crafting, y’all!

Happy 4th!

Hello & Happy 4th, y’all! I had so much fun creating todays crafts, I couldn’t want to share!

I tried a different painting technique with this jar. It was a little tougher than I had expected, but the final product is perfect! Instead of painting the outside of the jar, I painted the inside.
This was the easiest jar! I simply painted the jar blue and added a glittery finish. I happened to find the finish on the sale rack at Michaels! I can’t wait to use it on other projects!
This little beauty took a little longer, but was worth it! I saw something similar in Michaels, and decided I could make it myself. This jar is definitely my favorite out of the three!

I hope you enjoyed! Happy crafting!!!

Decoupage Owl

I haven’t decoupaged something in a long time… So when I was working on this little protect I was worried it wouldn’t turn out as cute as it did!  I found the owl cut out at Walmart.  I traced the owl onto scrap book paper.  I covered the wooden owl in Mod Podge glue and then covered the paper owl in Mod Podge.  After placing the paper on top of the wood, I used a brush to smooth out the paper.  Once the paper started to dry, I applied a coat of Mod Podge to seal the paper.  I added a little bow for a finishing touch!

Hope y’all enjoy!

Bunny Jar

Hello!  Today’s craft was a Pinterest find.  It turned out pretty cute, the outline of the bunny isn’t as smooth as I would like it to be.  I think I’m going to give this craft another shot, but I wanted to share before Easter!  To make this, I found a bunny template and taped it to the jar.  (I could have done a better job taping, I have a feeling that is why the lines are so rough.)  Then I painted the jar.  Once it was dry I just added the twine!  I plan on filling these with jelly beans as an Easter gift!  Happy crafting!

Arrow Paintings

Hello! I’ve been working on fun tribal decor for my niece!  Michael’s had a great sale on canvas and I stocked up!  This is the first creation.  I tried using a stencil and I didn’t love the stencil.  Next time I think it might try a different technique!  They still turned out cute! Hope y’all enjoy!

Hello!  I’m soooooo ready for warmer days!  Even though Springtime usually means lots of rain, it also means pretty flowers, sunshine, rainbows, and Easter!  To celebrate the first day of Spring, I decided to pull out my Easter decorations and make my home feel fresh and Spring-y.  I also thought it would be a good way to kick off Spring cleaning with a good dusting! I found Kirkland’s and Jo Ann Fabric’s had the best selection for Spring/Easter decor.  I just love the bunny-butt decor, I got one to add to my Easter collection this year!  Hope y’all enjoy!!!
