Wedding Crafts!

Hello!

A few months ago one of my friends got married and she asked for my crafty skills to help out with some of the wedding decor.  I learned some fun tips and tricks and I’m going to share them below!

We wrapped plain tea lights in washi tape to make them pretty!
The wedding was “Peter Pan” themed, which was prefect for the bride and groom. Thimbles were used as accents.
Ribbon wands! We didn’t craft these, but the picture was too pretty not to share!
Thimbles and acorns were used at each place setting. We lightly spray painted the acorns with a shimmery gold paint.
The card box! We actually did construct this ourselves with wrapping paper, ribbon, feathers, and wedding themed stickers.
One of my favorite crafts was embellishing the feathers. We lightly spray painted the feathers with glitter spray paint. They were so pretty!

These were just a few things to share, the whole wedding was incredibly creative!  Hopefully I’ll share the table layouts soon!  I hope you enjoyed, happy crafting!

Sweet Succulents

Hello!  I’ve been super quiet on the blog lately and I apologize!  I have been working on some fun things and I’m excited to share them with you over the next few weeks!

Today I wanted to share the sweet little succulents I gave as part of a Mother’s Day gift.  I saw these adorable bowls on clearance at TJ Maxx and I couldn’t pass them up!  Later that day I was in Walmart getting a few household items.  As I passed through the lawn and garden section, these little beauties caught my eye.  I’m very pleased with how this turned out!

Now to make one for my house too!  Until next time…

Spring Wreath

Hello!  Each season I’ve been trying to update the wreathe on my front door.  Wreaths aren’t exactly hard (at least not the ones that I’ve been trying!), but I’ve found getting the picks in the right place can be frustrating.  I’m pretty pleased with how my spring wreath turned out!  I’m in love with tulips this season!  Happy Spring!!!

Milk Jar Craft

Hello! I’ve been looking for fun, easy, and inexpensive ways to add touches of Spring to my home!  Here’s a quick little craft that I came up with using craft supplies I had laying around!

What you’ll need:

  • Milk Jar (could use mason jar as well)
  • Twine
  • Hot glue
  • Key
  • Paint
  • Painting Supplies

Start by painting the jar, I used a Martha Stewart satin finish paint and it took about three coats.  Wrap twine around opening of the bottle and secure with hot glue.  Attach key to twine and wrap around the neck of the bottle.  Add flowers!

Super quick craft and adds to perfect touch of Spring to any room!  I found my flower bouquet at Michael’s, I love the burlap flowers!  I hope y’all enjoyed! Happy Crafting!

Dream Catcher

Hello!  I had a request from my niece to make a dream catcher and I had to share the results.  It took a few tries to get the swing of things (and it wasn’t exactly easy with a cat playing and tugging at the ribbons as they were being woven), but it turned out beautifully!

If you’re interested in a customized dream catcher of your own, please contact me through my Etsy Shop and I would be happy to create one for you too!
